PELVIC FLOOR EXERCISES FOR PREGNANCY

Here are two essential exercises – the first is to help support the pelvic organs, and the second to prevent leakage. Both should be done regularly. The great thing is you can do them anywhere, in any position – so no excuses!
Exercise One
• Draw up and tighten the muscles around the back and front passages
• Lift up inside you
• Hold for a s few seconds, continuing to breathe
• Release and lower with control
• Repeat several times
Exercise Two
• Tighten and lift up inside in one quick contraction
• Hold for a count of 1
• Release with control
• Repeat several times
• Avoid breath holding
