Pushy Philosophy
We’re not just talking buggies here…
The moment you first pushed your baby into the world you became a Pushy Mother. You’ll always want what’s best for your child and you’ll push as hard as you can to get it. But it’s all too easy to forget about yourself in the process. And that’s where we come in. The whole focus of a Pushy Mothers session is YOU.
Our ethos is to help you get back on track physically and emotionally, and we hope that this healthy lifestyle will be passed on to the next generation. Whatever the weather your instructor will be there for you to make your day either with a practical session or educational lecture. Our aim is to make you feel good and to empower you with the strength to cope with the challenge of motherhood.
We also hope you’ll make new friends, and share tips and tales with other mums in your area. Remember you can talk, but you must walk!

Judy has been teaching exercise for 20 years, 15 of which specialising in ante/postnatal. A qualified Pilates instructor, Judy has also developed a two-day ante/postnatal course for Pilates professionals. And she's still found the time to be the mother of two boys. In other words she really knows her stuff! Judy ensures that all of our Pushy Mothers instructors are trained to her exacting standards to deliver the safest and most effective workout.
Rachel Berg: Rachel has 15 years experience in the fitness industry. Through her regular exercise classes and personal training she has taken many hundreds of women throug their pregnancies and postnatal recoveries. As a specialist in this field Rachel's clients are referred to her by both NHS midwives and by the private sector including the Viveka Centre and The Portland hospital. Pushy Mothers was Rachel's brainchild and she is driven by a passion to help women regain their bodies and their self-esteem after giving birth. Like Judy Rachel is the mother of two boys and has practiced what she preaches.
